Mr. B's is a quality restaurant where you can go with your family and friends, Steven took care of us. He was friendly and helpful with his suggestions. Even though we arrived without a reservation, the staff at the reception welcomed us warmly and directed us to a table. I think it helped that Nikki is a regular and knows the staff. We started with the complimentary bread, which is made fresh daily. We all had a strawberry and spinach salad with tossed pecans for an appetizer. I would recommend having the dressing on the side. For dinner, I had the BBQ shrimp as it was recommended by sweet Nikki, so I, of course, had to try it. It did not disappoint, and my mouth was bursting with delight. You have to use your hands to eat it, but you're missing out if you don't try it! The shrimp is huge, creamy, and the sauce is so flavorful. Plus, a bib is provided so no need to worry about making a mess! Steven, our server for the evening, was great and made some excellent recommendations. The food was outstanding. Mr. B's is on our "must visit" list when we come back. Best food we have had in the French Quarter and the company was even better.

Very classy feeing southern charm at this restaurant. We went here for a celebration, and the staff were very friendly, warm, and accommodating. Food was top notch, delicious, And hearty. Each dish was rich and flavorful. Notably the truffle fries had "light truffle" flavor which I was a big fan of. Didn't overpower like some places do.

This spot is a must - we enjoy sitting at the bar with champagne and a dish of yo yo with amazingly baked French bread! There is a kindness here with the staff no matter how busy they are! Thank you Mr. B - you are one of our anchor restaurants when we are in town! Your bread pudding is phenomenal!

We initially wanted to dine here for our large group for the bachelorette, but unfortunately were not able to. A part of our group broke off to go back to the hotel, but when we were dropped off, we realized how close we were to the restaurant. We took a chance and asked if there was seating for a table of 5. To our surprise, they were able to seat us -- score! I ordered a cheeseburger to be split with my friend. She ordered the shrimp, which is their signature item. The dishes I would say were a little higher than normal, but you are in the French Quarter and it was a fancier restaurant. My burger was about $34 and same for the shrimp. We had a great time being able to dine here.

Stopped in here to get my Mardi Gras fill of seafood this past week. It was busy of course, however, my fiance and I found a spot at the bar. Our bartender was great, he was funny, sarcastic, and kept us entertained throughout the evening; he clearly loved his job. We ordered their take on a Margarita and it was phenomenal; sweeter than a traditional margarita but very enjoyable. We then shared a greens salad and the jumbo crab cake. The crab cake truly was to die for. We then moved to our main dish where we shared crawfish risotto which was buttery, smooth, and so rich. We enjoyed every bite. Overall an excellent meal at a price you would expect in the FQ. The inside of the restaurant was very inviting and pleasant. I will be back!

Reservations are highly recommended. We had a person in our party get there early and get our name on the list. We were a party of 6 and sat in the back. We liked that location because it was a work group and we could speak a bit more freely not being in the center of the restaurant. Be prepared for a leisurely pace. They didn't bring our menus when they sat us. Our server did that after we got our water. Our server, King, was excellent. The dishes he recommended were incredible! I chose the Honey Glazed Pork Chop. It is gigantic! But it was cooked to perfection - the sweet tastes from the honey complimented the flavor of the chop nicely. It was served on a bed of jasmine rice with ver tender baby carrots. I wanted to try their King Cake and our server warned me it wasn't traditional. It was more like a bitter cake with a small scoop of ice cream on top. It was amazing! I like sweet desserts and this is very sweet so be warned. My colleague shared the Lemon Ice Box Pie she got with me and it tasted just like a key lime pie but not as bitter. That's a nice alternative if you like a less sweet dessert. We come down to New Orleans every year or so and this was my first time at this restaurant. Next time we are here, I will definitely eat here again.
